Thinking back to older things I liked

I've been revisiting a lot of old things I was into. Partly because I've more or less abandoned my twitter account to the void that it is, and I'm thinking I may just ultimately keep it that way for the time being.
Aside form old media I liked, and old media I grew up with, I've been especially remembering the text-based roleplaying I used to do a lot as a teen. I miss getting on forums related to things i was passionate about, creating a character and coming up with wild adventures with people.
these days, as an adult, it's much harder to pull that off I think. Life's so busy these days. Everything is a constant grind. and were all expected to take ourselves too seriously in our day.
but maybe I can carve some time out. I have some old stories I could turn into an RP. All things considered, it may be the only life I can give them.
