What's this about?

These are a whole bunch of ideas I've had over years that are more or less being mashed into one project. A lot of this started in my junior high, and high scool years with a world I called "The Fantastic Adventures From The Dimensions."

The premise of TFAFTD was that a scientist named Dr.Gregory Fitsby discovered how to make these portals that would connect to at least 100 other worlds in the universe. the portal itself was a pentagon shaped doorway made from haphazardly put together parts. the catalyst of the portal creation was some strange crystals found naturally in various locations.

Fitsby would later on pass this knowledge of his to a nephew before being assasinated. Said nephew would then attempt to recreate the portals himself but suffer an accident that would require him to be put into a robotic body. Sometime later, he and a couple of friends of his (both created by real life friends of mine), would find a portal made by Fitsby himself and get transported to another world where they would discover an evil organization hell bent on taking over the universe. our protagonists would then set out to put a stop to them.

after graduating and heading into adulthood, these ideas would largely be shelved and sit untouched for a long time.

The next set of ideas that are in this is a bunch of loosely connected ideas set in a cyberpunk dystopia. This was largely inspired by Deus Ex: Human Revolution. The premise here was that in the not too distant future, everyone would be coralled into large cities connected mostly by train. These cities would be surrounded by miles of rural land, however no one is allowed to enter or live in this rural land. these become dubbed the "Outlands". One particular city, Albanim, was the technology and entertainment capital of this world. There were a bunch of different stories i wanted to try, none of which really stuck.

The third set of ideas was a bunch of different fantasy stories I tried to make, one of which I almost wrote as a book. These weren't very well thought out.

I'm not sure how this will pan out yet to be honest.
