Somewhere in the cosmos lies a distant and small world called Lua. This world is covered in trees and mountains, with some valleys, lakes, rivers, and plains thrown throughout. It's warm in the summer, snows in the winter, and is rainy or foggy much of the year.
In this world sits a village in the north named KarĂ¡. This village is known for being suspended from the tall and sturdy pines of that region which stand in a body of water five miles wide and four feet deep.
There's a wooden pathway from the shore to the edge of the village, lined with wooden post lamps with a spherical diffuser. They use powerful lumacrystals to light the way. The village itself is made of wood cottages that line wooden and metal pathways. They weave inbetween the trees, supported by arrays of posts, cables, branches and beams that have kept the structure airborne for millennia.
The village is home to a quiet people, made of of craftsmen, engineers, their wives and their children. They are masters of the art of lightning power, using the energy to power homes, devices, and machines.
Travelers who find themselves here are often lost, having stumbled into this world from another. The people from this village are not surprised. They advise travelers to meet with the local priests: who are knowledgeable about the mysterious pathways between worlds.
